Joy 8 - 2 

The seed that fell among thorns stands for 

those who hear, but as they go on 

their way are they are choked by 

life's worries, riches and pleasures.

and they do not mature.

Luke 8:14

You cannot serve both God and Money.

Matthew 6:24b

     ♪ Today's scripture to mutter with  

                thanksgiving and love

God's children's normal life is joy.

It's because they thank for the new life

received by believing Jesus as the Savior,

the fellowship with the Holy Spirit who helps

daily to obey his loving command, and

the hope for the eternal heavenly home.

But to this normal life of God's children

the devil, God's enemy attacks with

deadly jealousy.

It's not only the attack of standing before 

the Red Sea following Egyptian Army behind

but like drizzle rain wet 

the clothes so that their strength can be 

drained.

They are worries, riches and pleasures.

The second that the devil attacks to steal

the joy of God's children is the riches of

the world so that their strength 

can be drained.

Material were entrusted with man to rule 

over by God at the Eden which means joy.

If the first couple Eve and Adam had ruled

over them with thanksgiving and 

rejoicing them

while using whatever needed the suffering and

the death of mankind would not have been

inherited.

God, the Creator gave them the code of ruling

materials at Eden; everything they eat

but not the fruit of the tree of knowledge

of good and evil, if eaten 

they certainly die.

But the devil tempted them deceiving

if they eat they become God.

The devil tempted mankind to chaos

the order of creation,

and to perceive good God evil by deception;

consequently the rule of distorted.

The deadly greed of mankind betrayed God.

In living, life and materials

are 2 most important elements.

Countries and governments are formed also 

to protect these 2.

To sustain life life must exist and 

materials.

Something to eat, clothing, and a house 

there are many needs in daily living.

To provide these the creator God has given

wonderful wisdom, hands, feet and health.

Sun, rain, wind, butterfly and bee 

he has given all needed.

All these he gave to mankind freely to live 

well as they work because he loves them.

About a half century ago koreans were

so poor many things indeed were in need;

from food, clothing, house but now obesity,

leftover food and 

clothing trushes are problems.

It teaches people to live well materials

are needed less than we thought.

Only sin has brought endless material desire

such as greed, worldly cultural pursue,

comparison, fame, pleasure etc.

All materials belong to God as

they were at Eden and entrusted with men

as managers.

Therefore all rich should be made in

the right manner and used in the right way

that is for loving.

This is how the purpose of

material is achieved.

Everything is God's.

A tithe is not God's, 10 tithe are God's.

For my life is God's.

This is normal way to use materials as

I use them modestly and return the rest

to God as it belongs to.

But when the 10 tithe are not enough to

provide my modest need, then Jesus said 

ask me.

He said for daily food not to store.

It must not be earned unjustly or stolen

to fill even basic needs.

They say one can not trade without 

telling lie,

but the Bible tells earning money with lie is

calling death.

Jesus called the worldly wealth 

even unrighteous.

Giving power and authority Jesus sent

the 12 disciples to unfamiliar villages

to drive out demons and cure diseases and

proclaim the kingdom of God with empty hands.

What an unreasonable and dangerous strategy ...

When they returned he asked 

"Was anything needed?"

"Nothing," they answered.

This one word is also mine; there are

so many biblical like stories as if

pomegranate eggs.

Since 1981 God has restored my Spirit;

during my school years and after he has

called me as his worker it has been the same.

It was the same to the Jesus team and

Apostle Paul and his team and all

God's faithful workers.

They could be categorized into 3;

the first, like Iscariot Judas and

the couple of Annanias and Shapira,

secondly the workers with worries and anxiety

without much fruit in rest of their life,

lastly like the Apostle Paul and his team

and the 72 Jesus' disciples.

“Seek first his kingdom and his righteous

everything else will be added.”

This principle of provision of materials

that Jesus taught will never be compromised.

This principle brings to his children;

to grow holy against sin,

to continue the fellowship with

the Holy Spirit and trust in him than men,

to be free from men,

to bringing up God's character,

to grow to love God and men more and

countlessly renewing the honeymoon

rejoicing and thanksgiving with God for

his faithfulness and almighty.

And it causes to rejoice and thank

the loving givers by obeying God and

to pray with love for them.

Jesus desires to his children not only

the needed materials but also all these

so he set the principle of provision.

"Ask you will receive and

your joy will be completed"

Materials are so important to maintain

life that even devil dare started tempting

Jesus with bread.

When there is no daily bread,

a sudden urgent need arises,

a great amount impossible to pay off,

swindled by a seemingly friend 

a large amount,

a long term in red and no way to recover,

bank foreclose,

a calling up a debt with threat unceasingly,

a person is drawn away yet no money to save,

then we tend to fall into anxiety and worry

without food and sleep,

yet the cause is not removed.

Joy disappears, losing strength,

the devil keeps telling, give up,

compromise, die.

We never should listen to the devil.

God's children must listen to Jesus.

We must think, proclaim and act as

the heir of the universe who will

reigne it with God.

In such as these kind of time 

I have a song,  

"In such as this time I sing a song

I sing love to my Lord, I love you,

I love you I really love you . . . "

We also have a sword to destroy the evil

fire bow, Matthew 11:28-30,

Philliaans 4:4-7, Psalms 37:4-6.

Our heavenly Father who lives in praise

hears our song, from giving the peace

transcending all understanding to

the material problem solves so

wonderfully, so perfectly.

I have seen it countlessly.

He has always done it.

For he is faithful and almighty.

For he loves people, even sinners

who believes his only son Jesus whom

he gave up for them.

Then the joy is restored,

heart thrills with thanksgiving.

We learn God more, we love him more

accordingly.

Praise the Lord, the Trinity God!
