Vine and branches
"I am the vine;
you are the branches.
If a man remains in me and
I in him, he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
Jesus is vine,
his children are branches.
Branches bear grape clusters.
When branches are in the vine
they bear fruit.
If the branches are cut off
no matter how fresh they
may be momentarily they
bear no fruit nor surviving.
It's because the nutrients and
water are supplied from the roots
trough stumps to the branches.
The quality of the nutrients and
water that branches receive are
the same as the vine roots.
Remaining God's children in
Jesus is that they have the
same hearts as Jesus'.
That in daily life is they talk
and act according to what
they know about Jesus' heart;
and what they do not know
they ask the Holy Spirit and
talk and act what he teaches.
This way is the branches
remaining in vine; and is
God's children remaining in
Jesus.
The Holy Spirit teaches
certainly to understand when
God's children ask him for.
Also he provides his children
who commit to obey his
teaching all needed strength,
wisdom and conditions.
He provides them all in
overwhelming joy with
supernatural power.
Today’s Christmas booklet page 41
is continued, the Bible chapter to
memorize each month.
These chapters are the core
Christianity, only in Christian faith.
Now it is the chapter, John 14.
John 14-16 are the most heartfelt
Jesus’ promises and request for
his beloved 11 disciples: It was his
last night on earth after last passover
supper before his crucifixion about
12 hours.
“Let my love and my life and my
inheritance be made known to all ”
For this he promised everything:
He promised sending his Spirit,
the Holy Spirit.
His beloved 11 disciples received
Jesus promises of all privileges
as his children and workers.
Now this is the same to all
his children.
