                            Not go astray

"All this I have told you so

that you will not go astray.

They will put you out of

the synagogue; in fact,

a time is coming when anyone

who kills you will think he

is offering a service to God.

John 16:1,2

I have a reason to thank

God at times.

In the last days Jesus said

there will be great distress

unequaled from the beginning

of the world but it will be cut

short for the elect.

Otherwise no one could survive.

Now living in hostile area to

Christianity for 31 years as

God's servants we have faced

like standing before

the Red Sea not infrequently.

Nothing could we do.

They were dangerous and urgent:

All could die.

Then Jesus' promise in his

last week recalls:

"God who made men knows

that men can't take too

much distress so he cuts short

such days for men to live."

This has calmed down us time

and again with thanksgiving

and hope.

We have faith it will continue

for his workers until they

complete their missions.

Today’s Christmas booklet page 41

is continued, the Bible chapter to

memorize each month.

These chapters are the core

Christianity, only in Christian faith.

Now it is the chapter, John 14.

John 14-16 are the most heartfelt

Jesus’ promises and request for

his beloved 11 disciples: It was his

last night on earth after last passover

supper before his crucifixion about

12 hours.

“Let my love and my life and my

inheritance be made known to all ”

For this he promised everything:

He promised sending his Spirit,

the Holy Spirit.

His beloved 11 disciples received

Jesus promises of all privileges

as his children and workers.

Now this is the same to all

his children.
