Joyful reunion
So with you: Now is your time
of grief, but I will see you
again and you will rejoice, and
no one will take away your joy.
John 16:22
It was after such a painful parting.
They were to accept it forever.
The disciples of Jesus parted by
their innocent teacher's execution
on the cross.
But they met him again:
It was resurrected Jesus.
The amazement and joy no one
nor anything in the world
could take away from them.
God's children faces painful
partings in this world,
however after completion of
God's nurturing they reunite
again in the resurrection
morning.
What a hope all saints have
in the resurrected Lord Jesus!
Today's Christmas blooklet page 41
is continued, the Bible chapter to
memorize each month.
These chapters are the core
Christianity, only in Christian faith.
Now it is the chapter, John 14.
John 14-16 are the most heartfelt
Jesus’ promises and request for
his beloved 11 disciples: It was his
last night on earth after last passover
supper before his crucifixion about
12 hours.
“Let my love and my life and my
inheritance be made known to all ”
For this he promised everything:
He promised sending his Spirit,
the Holy Spirit.
His beloved 11 disciples received
Jesus promises of all privileges
as his children and workers.
Now this is the same to all
his children.
