We don't understand

They kept asking,

"What does he mean by

'a little while'?

We don't understand what

he is saying." John 16:21

2000 years ago in the last night

at the large upper room

what Jesus' disciples talking about

that they don't understand

now we understand so clearly.

What Jesus' saying to them

"In a little while you will not see me

and in a little while you will see me."

was realized by his death on

the cross a few hours later and

rose from it 3 days after.

Today's Christians have the Bible,

the recording of what they saw

Jesus and of what they heard

from him.

And we can live to accomplish

the task that angels wish to know;

the task to make known all people

on earth about God's love

for men's redemption.

Is there a greater tragedy for men

not to read the Bible?

Jesus’ promises and request for

his beloved 11 disciples: It was his

last night on earth after last passover

supper before his crucifixion about

12 hours.

“Let my love and my life and my

inheritance be made known to all ”

For this he promised everything:

He promised sending his Spirit,

the Holy Spirit.

His beloved 11 disciples received

Jesus promises of all privileges

as his children and workers.

Now this is the same to all

his children.
