In a little while

"In a little while you will see me

no more, and then after

a little while you will see me."

Some of his disciples said

to one another,

"What does he mean by saying,

'In a little while you will see me

no more, and then after a little

while you will see me,' and

'Because I am going to the Father'?"

John 16:21 

With 11 disciples was it

Jesus last night on earth.

About in 10 hours Jesus will

be executed on the cross.

This Jesus meant

"In a little while you will see

me no more."

After 3 days he rises from

the death so he meant,

"after a little while you will

see me."

It is natural that even

the disciples never understood

the event of redemption

once for all in universe.

John 14-16 are the most heartfelt

Jesus’ promises and request for

his beloved 11 disciples: It was his

last night on earth after last passover

supper before his crucifixion about

12 hours.

“Let my love and my life and my

inheritance be made known to all ”

For this he promised everything:

He promised sending his Spirit,

the Holy Spirit.

His beloved 11 disciples received

Jesus promises of all privileges

as his children and workers.

Now this is the same to all

his children.
