Joy 9

     Where from Joy

Nehemiah said,

"Go and enjoy choice 

food and sweet drinks,

and send some to those 

who have nothing prepared.

This day is sacred to our Lord.

Do not grieve,

for the joy of the LORD is

your strength."

Nehemiah 8:10

          ♪, Scripture to mutter with 

                     thanksgiving and joy

Today is a holy day.

For God has made it and given to me

as a gift.

Therefore today we must be joyful.

Though yesterday and tomorrow

we do not know but today we must

be joyful for God gives us the best,

today is so.

This was the day that the Israelites

dedicating to God the newly renovated

the city wall and built humble temple

after returning from the exile of

70 years to Babylonia;

their unfaithfulness to God caused

the golden temple built by King Solomon

were torn down and the nation was destroyed.

They wept; remembering the old glory,

the great temple, yet they were grateful

for the temple and wall were rebuilt.

Because of their guilty life against

God . . ,

yet the gratitude to God's mercy,

these mixed emotions may cause them to weep.

And the heavy rain worsened the scene. 

Then Nehemaih and their leaders told

the people.

"Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks,

and send some to those who have nothing

prepared."

In other words, make today a feast.

Because today is the day that

God has forgiven you and restored

to start his blessings.

Though in life much hardships and etc.,

the life of God's children are always

protected and blessed as this.

About 50 years ago, in Kojedo

the remote island one limited licensed

doctor was practicing for the population

of 140,000,

the American missionary general surgeon

Dr. Sibley started the village 

health program.

Then the Chicago Tribune editor

Mr. Parvin with his wife, a dancer came

as a 1 year volunteer missionary.

She had a rare disease losing

muscle strength that she eventually

was not able to lift a cup and dying.  

One evening Jesus visited her and said,

"Read Nehemiah 8:10"

Not reading the Bible, so not knowing where

Nehemiah is, she started rejoicing the Lord

and was getting better to be able 

to dance again.

The family was so grateful that the couple 

came to kojedo. 

To gain the power of wealth, physic,

politics and of beauty people do

their best or even something else.

Losing physical strength of course lose

other strength, and losing it all, dies.

Where does the power of life come from?

Jesus said;

"If you love, your joy will complete."

Where joy is, so followers strength.

Where little joy is all reason to live,

what life would be like if complete joy is?

Jesus said I came to give you

the eternal life and in its fullness,

the abundant life.

Loving God, joy rises, accordingly

strength rises,

the dancer rose to dance again.

As Jesus said as the summary of the Bible,

"Love God, love yourself as l love you,

love others as you love yourself

and the nature" one by doing it

the joy will complete for the one.

And this joy is Jesus' joy, therefore

supernatural strength follows.

The one who follows this, 

Jesus loving character becomes

joyful person, and naturally

strong person and healthy, and

would do good work and much good work.

Today, be very joyful because of

the Trinity God, and love much and

be strong and powerful.
